A special message to  President Obama, The US Congress & the national news media, including CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, CNN, & MSNBC.

"The Chinese drywall disaster/toxic drywall disaster affects literally hundreds of thousands of US citizens & their families in most US States. This disaster is no different than a massive hurricane, or a magnitude 9 earthquake-except that in scope & size it is much worse. The homeowner victims are totally innocent. While the litigation process has begun, it may take years, and at the end of the day & the litigation proceeds may not be adequate to repair a homeowners home, to the point where it is safe to live in, or is safe enough to be resold. We believe up to 500,000+ US homes built, or remodeled since 2001, could have this lethal Chinese drywall, or US made tainted drywall in them.

We also believe the chemicals being emitted by the toxic Chinese drywall, or tainted US drywall could potentially kill those who live in these homes, or at a minimum make them sick for life. We need a massive federal disaster response, no different than the responses of Hurricane Katrina, Rita, or the Northridge earthquake. As long as we are bailing out greedy US banks that sold ridiculous mortgage products to unsuspecting US consumers, bailing out Wall Street for its greed, bailing out auto makers for making cars, many Americans no longer want to purchase, we as a nation should put the homeowners with toxic Chinese drywall, tainted US drywall in their homes-at the front of the line. Unlike greedy US banks, or Wall Street, the homeowner victims of toxic Chinese drywall, or tainted US made drywall need an immediate & massive federal relief program, that will allow these homeowners to rebuild their homes so that they are safe, and provide these homeowners with health care if needed. The homeowners with toxic Chinese dry wall, or US made drywall are completely innocent victims, & we believe our nation must stand with them, and provide them with assistance.   

By all means let the class actions, and the individual lawsuits proceed, but in the mean time, the US President, US Congress & the American people must come to grips with this disaster. Thus far the national response to this national disaster has been a pathetic joke. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission has yet to even recall this product. If we wait too long, this national disaster will turn into a national tragedy, for the 100,000's of thousands of Americans who now live in poisonous homes, with imported toxic Chinese drywall, or US made drywall.
